Product Designer, Diagnostic Tools
As a Product Designer for Diagnostic Tools, you shape how pathologists experience AI — designing interfaces that are clear, calm, and trustworthy in moments where the stakes could not be higher.
You will own design end to end: research with clinicians, interaction and visual design, and close collaboration with engineers to ship. This role is based out of our London office with flexible hybrid scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Lead design for diagnostic workflows, from research and concepts through polished, shipped experiences.
- Conduct research with pathologists to understand their workflows, constraints, and trust signals.
- Design clear ways to present AI findings, uncertainty, and measurements without overwhelming the user.
- Contribute to and extend our design system for complex, data-dense applications.
- Partner closely with engineers and product to balance ambition with what ships reliably.
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of product design experience with a portfolio of shipped, complex applications.
- Strong interaction and visual design skills, plus comfort with research and testing.
- Experience designing data-dense or professional tools where clarity is critical.
- Fluency with modern design tooling and an ability to collaborate closely with engineers.
- Empathy for expert users and the discipline to design for their real constraints.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in healthcare, scientific, or other regulated or high-trust domains.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards for complex applications.
- Experience contributing to or maintaining a design system.
For this role, we look for designers who can make complexity feel calm — because a clinician's confidence in the tool is part of the diagnosis.
Our perks
Flexible hybrid scheduling, open paid time off, private health insurance, a learning and conference budget, and equity for every team member.
